RN - Coumadin Clinic, Nacogdoches, TX
Assists physician in the Coumadin Clinic
Responsible for assessing patients and adjusting warfarin dosages
Responsible for clinical protocol guidelines based on patient's lab values
Makes clinical judgment in an efficient and effective manner.
Adheres to the standards of the Texas Board of Nursing.
Clearly documents according to the effectiveness of nursing care
Serves as an educator to patients, families, staff and other colleagues regarding matters related to coumadin and current practice guideline.
Qualifications
:
Qualifications
Current and active TX RN license in good standing.
BSN preferred
CPR certification
American Heart Association BLS certification.
Minimum of 3 years' comprehensive direct patient care experience
Strong inter-personal skills with the ability to work with all levels of personnel.
Able to lift and assis! t patients
Experience using EMR systems preferred
