The RN In-House Supervisor utilizes the nursing process model ! to develop a holistic, multi-disciplinary approach to the plan of care involving the patient and family.

This position requires a strong, hard-working, efficient individual. The RN Supervisor reports to the Director of Nursing and is responsible for being the glue that holds the department together. Ability to work well under pressure is a MUST!

Major tasks of the job include, but are not limited to:
Coordinating the care and implementation of the physician’s orders and the provision of care from admission to discharge for patients in the adult division.

Will perform comprehensive initial assessments and re-certifications per agency policy when needed.

Regularly re-evaluates the patient’s needs an initiates necessary interventions or revision to the plan of care.

Performs home visits and/or direct care as needed and with timely documentation in the approved home health format.

Provides on-site clinical sup! ervisory visits.

Participates in the agency’s utili! zation and clinical record review process; takes appropriate corrective action based on findings.

Complies with OSHA and safety rules.

Understands external requirements for Medicare, Medicaid, and State Clinical Practice Acts and applies principles to patient care.

Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:
Licensed by the Texas Board of Nursing as a Registered Nurse;

Associates Degree or Bachelors of Science in Nursing Degree, or equivalent;

Minimum one year related experience or training;

Knowledge of home care rules and regulations required;

**OASIS certified highly preferred!!**

Coding certified, preferred
