POSITION SUMMARY:
The surgical technologist participates in the overall care and safety of the surgical patient by assisting the physician and registered nurse in the perioperactive environment.

Qualifications

:

QUALIFICATIONS:
Licensure/certification/registration: Graduate of Surgical Tech program or military equivalent. CPR card required.

Preferred - Surgical Technology Certification (AST) or military services certification.

Experience Required: Previous OR experience is preferred.

Special Skills & Qualifications: Mental/Physical ability to meet demands of position/Ability to stand for long periods. Bilingual English/Spanish preferred.
