Overview:

Cornerstone, with its recent merger of Solara Healthcare, is headquartered in Dallas and owns 16 hospitals in Texas, Louisiana, Arizona, West Virginia and Oklahoma. Additionally, the group manages 3 hospitals in Ohio.

Responsibilities:
The Coordinator, Quality Management, under the direction of the Director, Quality Management, coordinates, and implements the quality management and quality improvement programs within the hospital. Monitors and provides assistance with quality assurance and compliance functions. Provides consultation and direction to ensure programs and services are implemented at the highest standards and patients receive the highest level of care. Ensures policies and procedures are monitored and updated to include regulatory changes. Participates in the development of and is accountable for implementation of the Hospital-Wide Performance Improvement Program including Risk Management and regulatory compliance at the hospital. The patient population served ranges in age from 18 years to geriatric experiencing medically complex conditions, general medical-surgical conditions, pulmonary and wound care needs with rehabilitation.

Qualifications:
Education and/or Experience:
Minimum of a LVN or RN license with a BSN preferred. Minimum three (3) years clinical experience in an acute care facility and two (2) years in Performance Improvement, Quality Management, Case Management or Infection Control in acute care facility, LTACH, or IRF.

Certificates, Licenses, Registrations:
Current nursing license in good standing for state employed.

Current certification (Certified Professional in Healthcare Quality or Diplomat of the American Board of Utilization Review) is desirable.
