The Profession
Responsible for day to day operations oversight of the facility's OR Division.

As the Division Head, you are expected to deliver these duties:

Process Management Resource allocation and performance improvement and training Provides effective leadership, management, direction and administration for entire assigned unit
To do these, you need to be equipped with vast knowledge and extensive experience on budgeting, development, research and analysis of new and existing clinical services. You will be designing and implemen! ting cost reduction strategies when necessary. You are also re! sponsible for strategic and capital equipment planning and technology assessment for Peri-operative Unit.

Qualifications

BSN, required - Master's Degree in Nursing (Healthcare Administration, or Business Administration, preferred; proventrack record of effective management within a Hospital/Healthcare Environment - OR Division

Paper works: Active License in Texas Minimum of 5+ to 7 years (2+ years current) post graduate experience as DON in Hospital/Healthcare Environment - OR Division Minimum 5 years Management Experience Specialty certifications/credentials - BCLS, ACLS Competencies in Financial Management and Leadership Very keen decision-making and problem solving skills Professional References
