At UT Southwestern, we take staff development, employee satisfaction and patient care very seriously. So much so that we are transforming our inpatient care management model at our St. Paul and Zale Lipshy University Hospitals. On most of our inpatient units, we are aligning our management responsibilities under Assistant Manager Care Coordinators and Assistant Managers for Day Team and Night Team.
As one of our Assistant Manager Care Coordinators, you will work Monday-Friday with no direct reports, which allows you to focus on patient engagement and throughput to ensure coordinated services across disciplines. Or you could choose to be one of our Assistant Managers for Day Team or Night Team. In this role, you will work six 12-hour shifts plus one 8-hour shift p! er pay period, which enables you to manage and mentor staff, w! ith a focus on staff engagement and development.
