Rio Grande Regional hospital, located in McAllen, Texas, is actively hiring a Registered Nurse in Labor & Delivery for Full Time Days
Job Description:
Is accou! ntable for consistent, safe, high quality care of all laboring patients assigned from admission to post delivery.
Is familiar with vaginal and C-section births, fetal monitoring and provide care for patients who receive various types of anesthesia.
Will demonstrate expertise in providing care for patient during PACU period as well as the immediate newborn care.
Education/Experience:
Graduate of an accredited school of professional nursing.
Current registration with the Board of Nurse Examiners for the state of Texas or if recently graduated, have a valid permit to practice professional nursing.
Licensure/Certification:
NRP required, but may take course within first year of employment.
Has documentation of attending AWHONN s FHM P&P within past two years, but may take the course within 6 months to 1 year of employment.
BLS required upon hire
