We are currently seeking an Sales Manager to work out of our Dallas, TX office supporting our Health & Safety program/personnel.
Reporting to the Division Sales Director, the Sales Manager I is responsible for profitable sales growth within the assigned Divisional sales territory. Directs the sale of services and products through reporting Sales Representatives and sales office activities. Responsibilities include optimizing revenue generation, establishing optimal sales goals, managing team performance, overseeing use of sales metrics by Sales Representatives and assisting the Division Sales Director in mana! ging budget administration.
Major Duties and Respo! nsibilities:
- Leads assigned sales force for PHSS product line. Plans and directs assigned sales force activities including assignment of sales territories, business development efforts, customer communications, and assistance in preparation of sales forecasts.
- Drives the sales process for PHSS products and services in assigned representatives and territories.
- Ensures productive and positive relationship with customers. Explores and builds partner relationships to develop and/or enhance business alliances externally and with OneRedCross partners (Chapters and Blood Services).
- Responsible for ensuring the assigned sales volume and profitability objectives are met.
- Responsible for managing resource allocated, including budget and personnel.
- Minimum 2 FTE; typically will have 2 - 7 direct reports.
- Typically = $150K budget
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing! , Finance, Human Resources/Training, or similar discipline.
- A minimum of 3-5 years of experience in sales and/or product marketing position.
- A minimum 1 year of supervisory management experience.
- Business planning and budget development experience.
- Knowledge of field sales techniques.
- Work requires professional written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to simultaneously manage several projects and motivate teams under tight deadlines. Ability to participate in and facilitate group meetings.
- Work in education tech/services or consumer products/services is a plus, but not required.
- Basic computer skills and demonstrated ability to utilize MS Office programs.
- Ability to travel 50-75%.
