About the Position
The Director of Women's Services is accountable and responsible for the effective delivery of competent, compassionate, and efficient patient care in Labor and Delivery, Post Partum and Nursery. This includes overall direction of clinical, human resources, and financial management. This department saw 750 deliveries in 2012 with a c-section rate of 35%.
Requirements
- BSN required, MSN or masters in ! related field preferred.
- Graduate of an accredited sc! hool of nursing.
- Valid TX license to practice professional nursing by the Board of Nurse Examiners.
- Specialty certification in obstetrics preferred.
- Minimum of five years acute care maternal/child experience, including two years of management or supervisory experience.
