The selected Certified Nursing Assistant will provide direct care to residents following an individual service plan, treat each resident with respect and dignity, recognize individual needs, and encourage independence. The ideal candidates will be goal focused, customer service oriented, and will enjoy making a commitment to meeting the needs of our older adults.

Key responsibilities include:

• Receiving and giving report to management on resident status at the beginning and end of each shift and as needed
• Providin! g personal care to residents per their individualized plan of care
• Documenting all pertinent information regarding care as assigned
• Preparing residents for meals and assisting them to and from the dining areas as well as assisting with set up and feeding of meals
• Assisting residents with toilet and incontinent care
• Making incontinent checks at least every 2 hours and providing incontinent care as needed
• Making room checks and verifying resident location at least every 2 hours
• Notifying the management of any changes in resident physical and/or mental status
• Keeping resident's rooms neat and clean
• Performing clinical procedures according to facility standards

We seek the following qualifications:

• Must have a High School Diploma or GED
• Must have current Nursing Assistant Certification in the state of TX
• Must have a minimum of one year experience working with! the senior population
• Six months experience in long term care! is preferred
• Must have flexibility with schedule and be avaialable to work days, evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
• Must enjoy working with the senior population
