Rio Grande Regional hospital, located in McAllen, Texas, is actively hiring an Emergency Room RN full time for nights!

Job Summary:
Utilizing the standards set forth for Nursing Practice by the ANA, and ENA,! the RN will organize, modify, evaluate, document and maintain the plan of care for Emergency Department. It will include individualized, family centered, holistic, supportive, and safe care.

Education/Experience:
Graduate of an accredited school of Professional Nursing.

Current registration with the Board of Nurse Examiners for the State of Texas.

2 years of Emergency Department experience preferred.

Licensure/Certification:
Current licensure by the State of Texas.

CEN preferred.

BCLS required for all nurses upon hire.

ACLS and PALS preferred upon hire for experienced ER nurses and new graduates/no ER experience should acquire within 6 months of employment.

TNCC and ENPC preferred within first 6 months of employment for experienced ER nurses and 18 months for new graduates/no ER experienced nurses.
