Location: Palestine Texas

Description: Palestine Regional Medical Center is at present recruited Psych Tech - PRN right now, this position will be placed in Texas. More complete informations about this position opportunity please read the description below. Provides emotional support, physical comfort and safety for patients. Observes, reports, and properly documents systems, reactions, and progress of patients to appropriate team members. P! articipates as a member of multidisciplinary team. Provides b asic nursing care functions such as vital signs, specimen collection, weights, feeding patients, and assists patients with activities of daily living.

Documents per hospital policy. Communicates well with patients, families, co-workers and physicians. High school graduate or GED required. Previous experience in psychiatric hospital setting preferred; previous experience in direct patient care preferred.

BLS certification required within 30 days of hire; training in "Handle With Care" required within 90 days of hire.
