Nursing experience in a clinic or medical o! ffice setting preferred. Computer skills required.

Licensure/Certifications:
Licensed Vocational Nurse currently licensed to practice in the State of Texas. Current CPR certification.

Job Summary:
Assists the Physicians Assistant in providing maximum patient care, assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of each assigned patient. Under supervision give direct and indirect patient care as assigned. This position is Full Time 32.00 hours per week Monday through Thursday at the Santo Clinic in Santo.
Responsibilities: Takes and records blood pressure readings, weight, length measurements and vital signs. Assists the healthcare provider and prepares patients for various types of examinations and procedures. As directed by the healthcare provider, administers specific drugs or medications either orally or by injection and observes patient for reaction. Maintains patient files. Ensures that inventory of necessary supp! lies and equipment is maintained for diagnostic and treatment ! procedures.
