SUMMARY:
The Nursing Assistant
performs basic hygiene and assists with! the patient activities of
daily living according to nursing policies and guidelines. The
Nursing Assistant works directly under the supervision of a
nurse. May be necessary to work weekends, holidays, evenings,
nights, or overtime. This position summary contains the most
relevant duties and responsibilities and does not exclude other
assignments not mentioned .
Requirements
QUALIFICATIONS:
1. M ust
obtain certified nurse aide certification from The State of Texas or
registered medical assistant, and remain current thereafter.
2. Must have
and maintain a current BCLS certification.
3. Must
demonstrate commitment and adherence to STHS’s Compliance
Program and Code of Conduct through compliance with all policies and
procedures, the Code of Conduct, attendance at required training and
immediately reporting suspected compliance issue(s) to the Compliance
Officer.
EDUCATION! / LICENSURE:
1. High School
Diploma/GED required.!
