The Nursing Technician performs basic patient care by assisting in the treatment and care of patients under the direction of a licensed nurse.
Qualifications
Education:
Possesses high school diploma or GED Is a student nurse who can document successful completion of appropriate clinical courses. Appropriate courses include but are not limited to Med/Surg, Physical assessment, and Pharmacology Is a graduate of a professional school of nursing who has taken but not successfully completed the State board of Nursing examination within the first year following graduation. After one year will be demoted to N.A. Maintains enrollment in a professional school of nursing.
License / Certification:
BLS Certification
