Planned Systems International is currently seeking a Director of Simulation Operationss to support our futu! re efforts in support of the U.S. Air Force Medical Modeling and Simulation Training project's Central Program Office in San Antonio, TX.

Essential Functions and Job Responsibilities:
The Director of Simulation Operations shall provide support to include:

Providing oversight and execution of the medical simulation training program for the AFMS across six countries, encompassing 86 sites based upon the premises of quality customer service, coordination, and execution.

Facilitating the development of program curriculum and training materials.

Managing the daily operations of the simulation training program across the AFMS in support of the AFMMAST/AETC Program Manager and/or Deputy Chief.

Serving as a liaison between the Staff and AFMMAST Program Manager/Deputy Chief.

Directing and supporting the AFMS simulation coordination and operations.

Working hand-in-hand with the Director, Research & Development,! Director of Curriculum and Program Administrator.

Se! rving as an assistant rater for AFMS Simulation Coordinators and Operators.

Supporting the Director of Curriculum in scenario to review process from start to finish and partnering with the career field managers and consultants in the AFMS to tweak scenarios and align them as close to real world medicine as possible.

Attending all strategic planning teleconferences with AFMMAST Program Manager and/or Deputy, also Director, Research & Development and Central Program Office staff.

Attending necessary conferences for the purpose of improving the AFMMAST Program.

Partnering with vendors to obtain any valuable information/documents that will assist AFMS customers with future decisions on equipment, with a specific focus on operational goals.

Directing the Simulation Coordinators on possible future site expansion and simulation center set-up. Partnering and coordinating with site Operators on preparations for standing up new simulation ! centers.

Serving as liaison for sites on possible future procurement of new simulation equipment based on specific site needs. Providing points of contacts (POCs) for future procurement discussions and working with Program Analyst on procurement of funds and equipment.

Assisting the Simulation Coordinators with Train-the-Trainer road show and basic troubleshooting for the purpose of training new simulation staff.

Providing support in distributing materials and coordinating logistics, budget, and registration support for conferences, conventions, and workshops.

Minimum Requirements:
Must have curriculum development, and conference planning/demonstration experience from a wide base of clinical training and military medical experience.

Bachelor’s degree in education/training or a related field of study.

Must have ten years of clinical or critical care experience with an additional eight years of education and t! raining of adult learners in a medical environment.

Experience! with a variety of medical simulations training platforms.

Experience in leading National and International simulation operations in medicine, simulation, and education.

Formal experience and/or training in medical simulation training.

Broad range of medical knowledge from experience as a Nurse, Physician Assistant, First Responder, or Medical Assistant.

Experience in medical military deployment to overseas and austere environments.

Demonstrate the ability to communicate effectively with various stakeholders with a geographically disperse audience.

Proficiency with military medical computer applications and the Microsoft Office suite.

Must have U.S. Citizenship and the ability to obtain and/or maintain the required Department of Defense Security clearance.

Must be able to acquire the immunization and personnel medical records to be cleared to work in a Military Treatment Facility.
