Come join our Med/Surg Team! We are currently looking for a Registered Nurse - RN for o! ur Med Surg department. As an RN, you will conduct patient assessments and develop and implement nursing care plans to foster quality outcomes. You will have the opportunity to apply sound judgment, clinical expertise, and execute critical nursing interventions to all patient populations within the patient care setting.

Duties of the RN maybe include the following but not limited to:

Responsible for the provision and coordination of patient centered care.

Coordinates care to achieve desired outcomes

Participates in patient and family teaching

Provides leadership by delegating and working cooperatively and collaboratively with ancillary nursing and other patient team personnel in maintaining standards for professional nursing practice and professional nursing performance in the clinical setting.

Must be able to demonstrate the knowledge and skills necessary to provide care and service appropriate to the age of the patient! s served in his/her area.

Qualifications

:
Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.

ADN or BSN (preferred)

Current Professional Nurse License issued and/or recognized by Board of Nurse Examiners for the State of Texas.

BLS from AHA

1-2 years professional nursing experience in a hospital setting

Computer Skills

Previous experience with EMR is preferred
