REGISTERED NURSE (RN)

Description: Reliant Hospital Partners is in need of REGISTERED NURSE (RN) right now, this position will be placed in Texas. Responsible for the delivery of patient care through the nursing processes of assessment, planning, evaluation and implementation; directs and guides patient teaching and activities of ancillary personnel while maintaining standards of professional nursing.
Qualifications
Licenses or Certifications
Current license-Registered Nurse
CRRN preferred; other national certifications or advance specialty certification desired
CPR required; ACLS preferred
Education, Training, and Experience
1-2 years of medical-surgical nursing e! xperience preferred

Organizes and prioritizes tasks and projects; accurately completes job responsibilities within the specified time constraints
Adheres to ethical, regulatory and accreditation standards

Works cooperatively with co-workers and other hospital employees
Adapts to changes necessitated by guest/staff situations

Writes legibly
Functions proficiently in a Microsoft Windows and Excel Environment
Machines, Equipment Used
Basic office equipment which includes 10-key calculator, computers, fax machine, copier
Clinical equipment used for! patient care, i.e. dispensing medication system, automatic B/P equipment, glucometer, CPM/AV impulse machines, IV/enteral pumps, patient lift/transfer devices, bladder scanner, patient call light system, PT/INR machine, emergency equipment-defibrillator, electronic charting system
Physical Requirements
Ability to lift up to 30 pounds and transfer patients in excess of 100 pounds
Ability to stand, sit, reach, push, pull, stoop, kneel, crouch and/or crawl, grasp, use fine finger movement.
Environmental Conditions
Indoors in climate controlled, well-lighted, and ventilated environment
