Description: Dept of Aging & Disability Svc is currently seeking to employ Program Compliance Monitor right now, this position will be placed in Texas. The Quality Assurance Program Compliance Monitor works under the direct supervision of the Quality Assurance Director. Performs moderately complex consultative services and auditing work. Work involves planning, developing, and implementing an agency program and providing consultative services and monitoring assistance to program staff, governmental agencies, community organizations, or the general public. May train others. Has the ability to work under pressure and in a team environment. Serves as liaison to staff, gove! rnment agencies, community organizations, or the general publi! c to assist in explaining program specifics and requirements. Monitors compliance with requirements, laws, regulations, policies, and procedures for assigned program. Assists program staff in determining trends and resolving technical problems.
Essential Job Functions:
Conducts surveys, monitoring activities, and reviews to determine the facility's compliance with certification requirements, standards, laws, rules, policies and procedures. Coordinates data collection, monitoring activities and analysis to prepare reports as required. Participates as a team member in the development and implementation of plans of corrections following surveys, audits and reviews. Participates in client programming/facility committees. Prepares written reports detailing the findings and recommendations of surveys, monitoring activities, and reviews. Provides consultation/interpretation of rules and standards for use in program planning and evaluation. Regularly reviews Pol! icy for compliance with applicable laws, regulations and other policies. Writes or participates in writing policies and procedures as needed. Assists with the review of program area operations to identify areas in need of change and assists with the development of plans to improve or address areas of concern. Assists in the collection, organization, analysis, and/or preparation of materials in response to requests for program information.
Other duties as assigned include but are not limited to actively participating and/or serving in a supporting role to meet the agencyĆ¢s obligations for disaster response and/or recovery or Continuity of Operations (COOP) activation. Such participation may require an alternate shift pattern assignment and/or location
Knowledge Skills Abilities:
Knowledge of local, state, and federal laws related to the program area; of public administration and management techniques; of statistical analysis processes; of budget pro! cesses; of research techniques; of training and marketing techniques; a! nd of program management processes and techniques.
Skill in identifying measures or indicators of program performance and in operating computers and applicable software.
Ability to gather, assemble, correlate, and analyze facts; to devise solutions to problems; to market programs; to prepare reports; to develop, evaluate, and interpret policies and procedures; to communicate effectively; and to train others.
Experience with Program Development and Implementation. Ability to understand programs and identify when programs are being implemented correctly. Ability to identify when an assessment is complete. Knowledge of the ISP Process and timeframe for program implementation. Ability to provide positive feedback regarding results of external facility monitoring.
Must have excellent computer skills. Attend on a regular and consistent basis.
Registration or Licensure Requirements:
Experience in a field related to the agency! program. Graduation from an accredited four-year college or university with major course work in a field relevant to the assignment is generally preferred. Experience and education may be substituted for one another.
Initial Selection Criteria:
At least five years of experience in a field working with individuals with intellectual disabilities. Knowledge of ICF-IID Standards. Graduation from an accredited four-year college or university with major course work in a field relevant to the assignment is preferred. Experience and education may be substituted for one another.
Additional Information:
Starting Salary for this position is: $3020.91
