Provides trained paramedical support in administering health care services

Additional Summary Specific to Job

This positio! n is responsible for providing employee health clinical services and Occupational Health surveillance to new and existing UT Health employees.

Prepares new hire employees with all regulatory and institutional required vaccines. Reviews new employee and visitor immunization records for accuracy and completion Administer and record to electronic medical records all requested immunizations. Once monthly, provide in report format: total number of immunizations administered, number of immunizations per specific vaccination, number of employee immunization forms submitted to the clinic. The report will submitted to the Safety committee associate. Plans and implements influenza vaccination program. Trains providers on cardio pulmonary resuscitation (CPR) certification. Plans and implements health fair program for annual compliance training of EH&S, Facilities, and UT employee staff. All other duties as assigned.

Organizational Requirements

High school di! ploma or equivalent and completion of an approved Medical Assi! stant training program.

CERTIFICATIONS/SKILLS:
Use and care of standard clinic equipment.

Departmental Requirements/Preferences

Current Texas Licensure as a Licensed Vocational Nurse

MINIMUM EDUCATION: Paramedic, emergency medical technician, or medical assistant.

MINIMUM EXPERIENCE: 5 year
